Peace and Quiet:
If you are sharing WildSpring with others, please help maintain the peace and quiet here for everyone: When you're outside your cabin or in common areas, please moderate your voice, and turn all wireless phones and beepers to the silent mode. We ask that all phone conversations take place inside your cabin, and that the sound levels on your TV, CD player, computer and iPod do not intrude on others.
If you are part of a group that is using the entire facility, simply follow the guidelines of your group.
Parents: Please make sure your children understand it is important to respect WildSpring's peaceful environment.
Smoking and Damage:
For the comfort of all our guests as well as for insurance and fire safety reasons, this is a non-smoking facility. Any guest who smokes will be charged an additional fee of $250. The person who signs the registration form assumes responsibility for ensuring everyone in their party understands this.
In addition, we have furnished this facility with many lovely things, trusting in the integrity and care of our guests. If any items are missing or damaged, or any part of the cabin stained or damaged enough to require professional cleaning or repair, we reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair costs.
Guest Safety:
We make every reasonable effort to ensure guest safety here. However this is a natural environment, with unpaved trails and some fairly intense weather at times. During high winds please stay within your cabins, the Guest Hall, the spa, or on the main trails of the property and watch for falling or loose tree branches. We do not recommend walking the property at night in high winds since you will not be able to see a falling tree limb. Do not use the spa during lightning storms.
Guest Comfort and Heating:
We are scent-neutral in all our cleaning products, and use bromine rather than chlorine in the spa for guest comfort. So we ask please do not use perfumes in interior spaces, nor incense in the cabins. The scents linger and many guests are allergic.
The cabins are heated by radiant heated floors, and the systems are set to provide what feels like 70 degrees…even though the thermostat may read much lower. Please don’t raise them more than 1 – 2 degrees at a time, or within a couple of hours you will be uncomfortably hot and waste a great deal of energy. |
