There are a number of options to fly into this area, depending on how far you are willing to drive after you arrive.

Commercial Airports:

The closest commercial flights come into North Bend (OTH) about an hour north of here, and Crescent City (CEC), about an hour and 15 minutes south on the California/Oregon boarder. Alaska Air flies into North Bend from Portland. United Express/Skywest flies into Crescent City from San Francisco and Arcata/Eureka. Rountrip between Southern California and either airport runs from $300 - $500, depending on how far in advance you book the tickets and the days you stay. Car rentals are available in both airports from Hertz, and also from Enterprise in North Bend.

Arcata Airport (ACV) is slightly larger, about 2 1/2 hour drive south of here. You can fly on Horizon Air, United Express and starting June 5, on Delta. Rental cars are available.

Both Eugene and Medford have slightly larger airports, plus rental cars, and are a three-hour drive. You can fly into Eugene on US Airways, United, Horizon Air/Alaska and Delta. And, into Medford on America West, Horizon Air, Skywest/Delta and United.

And, you can fly into Portland International on quite a few airlines, with plenty of rental car options. Portland is about a 4 1/2 to 5 hour drive from here.

Private Airports:

Port Orford, Bandon and Gold Beach all have airports suitable for private flights, but have few services and no rental cars.
