| WildSpring is a lovely, naturally beautiful place for small weddings and commitment ceremonies. The perfect, peaceful setting for families and friends to spend time with each other and celebrate this special event.
Imagine an open-air ceremony overlooking the ocean on the Guest Hall deck (see the bird's-eye view of the deck on the right), or in Mary's Grove next to the walking labyrinth surrounded by 100-ft trees. Or in the Guest Hall at night, draped with twinkling lights.
We can set up the Guest Hall for the reception (and even move the ceremony inside in case of inclement weather), where the floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside in. Or design a candlelit party on the deck with a brilliant canopy of stars.
And, we can arrange for everything you need, including catering for a reception/dinner, flowers, decorations, cake and officiant.
One thing to keep in mind when considering WildSpring: We will work with you to make sure it lives up to your hopes. However, it would be challenging to plan a formal, traditional ceremony and reception/dinner here. We can certainly make your event look lovely, with exceptional catering, but in a more natural setting with more simple decorations...and especially if you are looking for an eco-friendly celebration.
Lodging accommodations
We can accommodate 22 people in 16 beds among five cabins. Each cabin has a livingroom and bedroom that can be seperated by pocket doors. The spacious bathroom can be accessed from either room.
Each cabin has a top-of-the-line Simmons pillow-top queen bed in the bedroom, with two Lane Snuggler loveseats in the livingroom that pull out to become twin beds (which we top with a feather mattress before making up, so they are very comfortable). In addition, the large cabin, Annwyn, has a Flex-Steel queen pullout (also topped with a feather mattress, also very comfortable).
This means the four regular cabins can sleep 4 people total, or 3 if they each want their own bed. And in the large cabin, it sleeps 6 people total, or 4 with their own bed.
The wedding party
We can accommodate more people for the ceremony and gatherings than we have lodging availability (we can help make arrangements for others in your group to stay elsewhere as well). Approximately 36 people can fit on the deck or in the Guest Hall, with theater-style seating for the ceremony, with approximately 32 for meals.
For larger ceremonies where the immediate family would like to stay together here, we can arrange for the ceremony and reception at a local B&B at the north end of Garrison Lake. It has a large outside area suitable for up to 75 - 100 people. It is a lovely space, ringed with trees and overlooking the lake.

Catering
We can cater meals for your party, bring in a chef to cook to your specifications in the modern, fully-equipped kitchen in the Guest Hall, arrange for group meals at local restaurants. You can also use the facilities to prepare your own meals - we even have both propane and charcoal grills for your use.
We start each day with our extended continental breakfast suited to your preferences in the Guest Hall overlooking the ocean (great whale-watching all year long on the deck).
We can also provide wines and champagne at below-retail prices.
Activities
We can arrange for activities for your group, such as jet boats up the Rogue River in Gold Beach, sunset horseback rides on the beach, golf, and ocean, river and lake fishing. There are art galleries galore in Port Orford and the south coast. And, we can arrange for massages, tai chi, yoga, drumming/Native American flute circle, guided meditation and arts and crafts here at WildSpring. And don't forget, there is great beach-combing here for driftwood and agates. Charges
Lodging charges will be determined based on your party, and usually requires a two-day stay in order to accommodate the ceremony.
If you take the entire property, you have full use of all our facilities at any time, though there is a charge to use the Guest Hall and deck for the ceremony and reception and to take care of setting up and breaking down the tables and chairs you need, cleanup, plus making arrangements, and working with caterer, florist, etc. That will run from $250 to $1000, depending on number of people and amount of our time you need. Plus, like all small groups, there will be a service surcharge on the other days of your stay, depending on use of our facilities and how much assistance you need to set up and clean up for group use of the faciities. This will be a minimum of $100/day, up to $500/day...though normally there is no charge for the last day since we take care of breakfast for your group.
If you do not take the entire property, we will have to discuss the impact of your plans on other guests and you will have to share the common facilities with everyone here.
We will also discuss the costs to make arrangements for your event, such as flowers, decorating, catering, rentals, officiant, depending on how much assistance you need.

Children
While our policy is a minimum age for children of 13, we allow very mature children a few years younger, and we will accept infants if they are not yet out of the crib. Our cabins are filled with art and antiques that make it impossible for us to child-proof against toddlers or even crawling babies. Infants would be an additional $15 charge/day. |
